NAME

There is a name I love to hear
for it fills my heart full of cheer
It makes me happy when I am sad
and it makes me glad when I am mad

It heals my body when I am sick
and it protects me from the devil’s tricks
It gives me courage when I’m afraid
and it raises men from the dead

It is the only name where by men can be saved
and the only name in which I’m a slave
A name of power and a name of strength
but yet it is gentle and compassionate

A name of mercy and a name of peace
It is the greatest name ever in the human race

A name like no other that men can call
a name not given for one but given for all
It’s a name perfected and then given to us
It’s none other than the name of Jesus

John 20:31
