A poem is a feeling
that one may express
Some do it well
others do it best

Most people write them
others sing a song
But they all tell a message
of life, love, and time

Some are happy
while others are sad
Some are good
while some are bad

But each has it’s own meaning
to relay to me or you
Telling us the story
that the author wants it to

So when you’re not busy
please take a little time
Just to read over
a few simple lines

Poems are written for people like you
To help make life a little easier and make old thoughts new
