THE END OF THE DAY

As I come to the close of the day
there are a few words I’d like to say
To thank the good Lord who’s up above
for his mercy, caring, and precious love

Thank You Father for the sun so bright
and for my eyes to see your light
Thank You Father for the wind that blows
and for the senses that allow me know

Thank You Father for your sea so deep
and for the food which is in them that
you’ve given me to eat
and for the shoes I now put on my feet
Thank You Father for the clothes I wear
and for your love which is always there

Thank You Father for your grace divine
and for being that in the worst of times
Thank You Father for your Son who died
so that all mankind could stay alive

Thank You Father for another day that you let me see
another day you have provided my every need
Another day you have kept me in your Holy sight
Father I thank you with all my might

Psalms 55:17

Evening, and morning, and at noon,
