The transparent chain of bondage
has oppressed my soul
the shackles of commitment
have now grown old
The pain of endurance
has taken her course
the anguish of failure
leaves but one recourse
Surrender all that I have
to him on high
for he knows of the misery
that makes me cry
To forget the grief and distress
found in yesteryear
and proceed with my life
with out a fear
Because he will be with me
