MY WIFE

When everybody is laughing
and putting me down
and I need someone to talk to
she is always around

When nobody tells me
what a good job I’ve done
Or pats me on my back
she’s the one

When I’m in my lowest state
and no one seems to care
She caresses me tight
and wipes away my tears

When I’ve made a mistake
and everyone is on my back
She tells me not to worry
and she helps me to relax

When nobody stands with me
and it seems as if I’m alone
she tells me how much I am needed
and wanted in our home
