I’M NOT ALONE

I thought I walked this world alone
but I soon found out that I was wrong
For I had no friends, and no one to turn to
all day and night I sang the blues

I searched the world over to find relief
not knowing that Jesus was all that I needed
I turned to the bottle, but it made things worse
I turned to drugs and almost took a ride in a hearse

And just when I was bout to end it all
I heard His voice as He began to call
He said, come unto me and I will give you rest
If, you believe in me and give me your best

I knew it was the Lord that was talking to me
so I opened my heart, and fell on my knees
He talked to me for quite some time
and now I know in Him that peace I will find

And from that day on He has walked with me
Jesus forgave me and saved me from my sin
Now I know that I’m not alone
for my Heavenly Father is with me all day and night long

Isaiah 41:10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed;
for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will
help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand
of my righteousness
