I WAS BLIND

For I was blind beyond all might
always trying to see with my earthly sight
Never getting anywhere, and no peace of mind
and it was all because, I was blind

Then Jesus came and gave me new sight
and then he equipped me with a sword to fight
For all that I am is because of him
because He washed out my transgression and forgave my sin

So now I’m His soldier and I have to fight
but I won’t be afraid for He is my might
I’m so happy that a new song I sing
Through Jesus Christ I can do all things

Thank You Jesus for what you are to me
for you have set me free and I’m free indeed
Now every day of my life belongs to you
please let your Holy Spirit guide me through
