A PRAYER FOR YOU (PART I)

God gave me a love
and that love is for you
But I overlooked this love
for I didn’t know what to do

For I lost the blessing
that God had in store for me
For Satan blinded me
and I could not see

He played a dirty trick on me
and I did not know
But Jesus opened my eyes
and showed me the way to go

So now that I know
that my love is true
I pray every night
to share that love with you

I pray that God will join our spirits
and make them as one
Teach us to obey his word
that we might see his Son

I pray that he will lead us
in all that we do
And that we are found in the center of his will
our whole life through

I pray that God will give us a son
and children so dear
That they may radiate his sunshine
and fill our life with cheer

And we will teach them
the truth and the light
That they should praise him
with all of their might
