Dnalevelc

He sang as though time was endless
We sat, arms folded, our eyes affixed on the clock

He spoke softly from his love of God as he shared mini testimonies with towering conviction
We glanced at one another, appalled and condescending

He fumbled through his notes, his pick in disarray, oblivious to any negativity; he begins another praise
We spoke without words, thoughts contrary to the given message

He sat absent from the world around him completely emerged in devotion, and yet another praise
We clap out of necessity

He proclaims another expression of his thankfulness and gratitude
His, pick, guitar, and voice echo melodies of freedom throughout the room
Our hourglass’s sands of patients filtered from mountain top to the anchors of our intentions

He sings of life, happiness and love as a mother that finds no fault in her helpless child, he shares from his well of hope and faith
We ignore, our cups of acceptance bottoms upward

He continues to pour as though cups not filled, children expecting; song, hymn, praise, worship, contemporary, traditional; angels sing as he leads silenced voices in another song
