BWC Beast Mode October 24, 2021

Glancing at the chains dancing in my head,

Negative thinking, jumped in my bed

finding my lion, I roar instead,

You are a champion, my God said

Keep moving forward, wipe those tears from your eyes,

the dreams that I gave you shall never die

Dreams of prosperity, generational wealth

Mental, physical and financial health

Wake up, get up, I’ve ordained your day

Impact the world through the words you say

Affirmations, proclamations, declare your truth

I’ve been your strength since your youth

Show up every day, and work through the pain,

weather the storm dance in the rain,

I’m writing your biography your story must be told,

I think I’ll call it, “My child’s Beast Mode”

Celebrate Justice

Before the presumed bells of justice were able to ring

“Oh, Lord, not my child” another mother would sing

The spirit of racism took to the sky

Yet another melanized baby would die

Don’t you dare, justice celebrate

Systematic genocide is yet your fate

Guilty, Guilty, Guilty, the jury proclaimed

Not before another privileged, took his aim

Celebrate justice, don’t you dare

Political gun powder fills the air

Documented case they are aware

Whatever the verdict, they don’t care

Shooting us down at their will

Asking the question, how many can we kill

Protected by the uniform and the silver shield

The reality of Franklin Roosevelt’s “New Deal”

My FLOW

Faith - My belief from within, blended with my hope, my destiny it bends

Love – of myself, the Divine and friends

Obedience – to the Spirit through heart and mind, manifesting greatness on the continuum of time

Working – from the past, the present and that to come, like an ocean I’m flowing, I’ve just begun

“Beast Mode”

Glancing at the chains above my head,

wrap them around my neck until I’m dead,

finding my lion, roar instead,

that’s the temptation that I fled

Keep moving forward,

tears pouring from my eyes,

I can’t comprehend the myriad of lies

I gave you may heart and you set it afire,

Lord help me move past this destructive desire,

forgiveness is the key I must acquire

I’m sorry God, I can’t do it anymore,

my mind has packed up and I’m at the door,

why am I prostate on this floor,

hearing you say, “That’s what I’m here for?”

Get up my son and march ahead,

she will need your strength, stand by her bed,

terminal sickness, hold her hand,

it’s okay to cry, you are a man

Show up every day, work through the pain,

weather the storm and the rain,

victory in the end you will gain,

I’m writing your story- it must be told,

I think I’ll call it, “Beast Mode”

Duty of Disobedience

Divine destiny destroyed by disobedience

     Disenfranchised, spiritual decay

Deception divided, dual hearts array

     Destruction perpetually, hallow disguise

DNA heritage others despise

     Diluted identity debasement implied

Delusions of freedom, destiny detained

     Diaspora truth dignity reframed

Discipline enforced morality drained

Dreams of freedom, deep dark graves

Dead men walking while their children play

     Divorce devised dividends denied

Dominion sleeping, accepting the lies

     Domination endeavors prolonged cognition

Designation God given; man declined

Divine royalty will again be mine

Diabolical plan, will not stand

     Descendent of the original man

Passing Through the Desert of Destiny - Surviving Witchcraft

Passing Through the Desert of Destiny - Surviving Witchcraft

Before I reached the puberty of life

I was stabbed with a spiritual knife

Funny how no blood seemed to flow

Like the red paint of the ghetto

An invisible canvas stretched with skin

The wound manifested from within

Hugs, fellowship, and seemingly good food

Hindsight, the wisdom I never should

Sing your songs of deceptive praise

Eight years of living in a grave

The role of the shadchan is what they pretend

Chaining the young to the old they did intend

Reciting vows for a sacred life

I was stabbed with a spiritual knife

Praising and worshiping, speaking in tongues

Prophecy, and knowledge falsely begun

Spells and incantations behind the vail

Yet God and religion is what they sell

The promise of deliverance, a crafted deception

Looking in the mirror, but it's not my reflection

Nightmares and demons wake me at night

I was stabbed with a spiritual knife

Going once, going twice, you’ve been sold

At the auction for my soul

The Devil or God; who bought me

I've passed through a desert of destiny

The Power Of Hope

The Power Of Hope

Hebrews 11:1 (CEV)
Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see.

Have you ever considered the meaning of the word hope? Did you realize that what or who you find your hope in may not be what or who someone else may find their hope in? Did you know that it is only natural for us to offer a person in need that seems to have given up hope, our hope? We don’t often think to ask the person what got them to the present? What did they believe in or hold on to? What is different in their current situation? What is not working for them that worked in the past? Perhaps if we allow them to work through their hope, they will reconnect or be willing to try our hope.
Don’t under estimate the power of hope. From holding a marriage together to bringing a person back from the hands of death, hope gives us something or someone to hold on to. Hope as an equation is Help over Problem Eventually. This mental and or spiritual equation allows us to see help over the problem no matter how big or deep the problem, eventually. It is the H/E part, Help Eventually that gives us the motivation we need to hold on. For the Christian, the H/E or He of our hope is Jesus the Christ. For non-Christians the H/E may be a person, a god, an object, or something else, the important thing is that there is a H/E. Just because your hope is built on Jesus Christ and His righteousness, don’t under estimate someone’s hope that is different than yours for them. Go ahead, in the words of Jessie Jackson, “Keep Hope Alive” it may save a life. ~Moffett~

You Can’t Work Your Way Into Heaven

You Can’t Work Your Way Into Heaven
According to Jesus teaching found in Luke 13:25-27, many people will attempt to work their way into heaven. The issue is that Jesus has already completed the work, we have to complete the worship. There is a major difference between work and worship; we work for a reward, where worship is the reward, and worship requires spiritual work that is manifested in the flesh. Worship that transcends and transitions the earth realm to the spiritual realm.

Saratoga

 Saratoga

Hibernation denied, courage applied
Destination confirmed, travel from home
Cancelation in dreams, anxiety bells ring
Expectations delayed, emotions parade
Declarations proclaimed, practice for the ring of fame
Participation panic, eradicate frantic
Equalization established, experience embellished
Collaboration of bond, observe the prey respond
Persuasion inquisition, silent recognition
Hesitation in exit, program indebted
Actualization ignited, PTSD indicted

Woman, Not Today!

Woman, Not Today!
To the widow just trying to make it; I get it life dealt you a hand you have to play out. To the wife whose husband serves our country in one way or another, leaving you to tend to the children; I get it. To the mother whose man is incarcerated as a result of a corrupt justice system; I get it. To the woman that was raped and left with a living reminder of a day she wishes she could forget; I get it. Each of you has no choice but to make up for the void of an absent father. You feel entitled to celebrate both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. I would hope that you find some way to celebrate the father of your child even if it is just for the child’s sake.

To the mothers that just made a bad choice however it happened, you ended up with what you now call, “a sperm donor”; to you, I don’t understand. One night stand, another woman’s man, trying to make him your husband anyway you can, get a needle in your hand, put food in the pan, putting dollars on your stand. You didn’t yell, “dead-beat dad “ or “sperm donor” on the night/day of conception, but today you want to make a public exception, present you child with a false perception, to promote your exhilaration, paternal  emasculation, perpetuation over generations, offspring brain incarceration, feminist ideology fertilization, gender discrimination, forced assimilation, family deprivation. You have 364 days for the signification of your hallucinations, but today is for “Fathers” celebration!
